Terroir, coteaux or côtes wines

Lieu-dit wines (terroir) or coteaux wines

These wines come from the best vineyards of the Luxembourg Moselle and represent the top of the range with a maximum yield of 75 hl per ha.
Here, the quality of a wine is determined by the terroir, thus by its origin. The vineyard, low yields, manual selection and a management close to nature are only some of the criteria that determine the excellent quality of these wines.

The wines of Côtes

These are very convincing harmonious wines with a yield between 75 and 115hl per ha depending on the grape variety. Their fruity and light character makes them a simple pleasure to enjoy every day.

Premier Cru and Grand Premier Cru

They are reserved for white wines whose basic yields are respectively fixed at 85 hl and 75 hl per ha when they do not come from a single terroir. Only certain grape varieties are authorized such as Rivaner (only in terms of 1er Cru), Sylvaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muscat-Ottonel and Gewürztraminer (which, depending on the yield, are either 1er Cru or Grand 1er Cru)
